In life, there will always be challenges. Accepting a challenge to do something new can feel a little risky, but the benefits to your health and happiness may be worth it!
Doing something that challenges you gives you a whole different outlook and makes you more receptive to change. In fact, research shows that learning new skills actually creates and strengthens the neuro-pathways in your brain, which in turn boosts your memory and creativity.
While anything that provides healthy brain and memory functions and increased creativity should be good news, for many it can be more than a bit daunting to get out there and ‘experiment’ in areas of life that are unfamiliar.
