Having worked with clients for over two decades I have come to realize that, regardless of the specifics, there are so many commonalities among my clients.
I often wish I could introduce my clients because they share some many shared experiences, but, of course, with a Code of Ethics that emphasizes confidentiality, that is not possible.
So I was super excited when writer Krissy Brady reached out to me to offer my insights for her article for Self Magazine entitled 7 Things Your Therapist Wants You To Stop Freaking Out About.
Three of the topics I shared (and Krissy printed) are:
- You always feel guilty about something (No, guilt is NOT mandatory for women!)
- You stress because your life doesn’t look like Pinterest
- You fret because you’re not perfect
Check out the article here.
Can you you relate to any of these? I know I used to be consumed by #7! Not any more- thanks to the Better Than Perfect principles!
