Blame it on Your Email


Do you suffer from emotional exhaustion? It may be your email is to blame.

 

In a recent article by Amy Capetta from Yahoo! I was interviewed about a study, which found that the expectation of organizations to respond to off-hours emails is leading to job burnout and hindering emotional well-being.

The paper entitled “Exhausted, but Unable to Disconnect: The Impact of Email-related Organizational Expectations on Work-Family Balance” explores the negative impact that always being “on” can cause.
